Aisha

Dear Friends,

I can finally share a bit of my work with you! Six months ago I met a beautiful woman named Aisha.* Aisha is a client of IJM Uganda, where I work. I met her in her tiny room in a local slum, and although the room was dark, she radiated great joy. Aisha shared her story with me and I had the great privilege of writing a draft of the story that is now posted online. Although the story has been much improved since my draft (it's basically been rewritten so none of the writing credit goes to me), I took the photos that accompany the story. I'm hoping that you'll visit the IJM website not to see my work, but the work of my colleagues to bring Aisha hope and restoration.
